Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are constructed of hardwoods, composition materials and/or heavy cardboard. All remains received for cremation must be encased in a rigid, leak proof, combustible container. Direct Cremation with container provided by purchaser: $1,545 Direct cremation with cardboard container provided by mortuary: $1,670 Scheduled cremation add $200. Over 300 pounds add $225.
